Some of you know that I began writing seriously after I moved. Initially, it was for survival. I had so many emotions and writing was the only way to express them.
Since last spring, I've written several poems and essays. Many about my transition here to Cambridge, but others about my family and the beauty of East TN.
When I find myself a bit intimidated by published authors in my writing classes. I'm reminded that the only person I'm "competing" with is myself. As long as I'm growing as a writer, that's all that matters.
What goals are you working on?
Where are you on your journey?
I am committed to helping women 50+ with the self discovery process. If you need an accountability partner or a coach, just send me a message!
Dream, Do, Become!
It's easy to become discouraged when we are working towards a goal. Change is hard, growth is hard; but I get up early every morning, just to catch a glimpse of the sunrise and with it the promise of a new day. Keep dreaming and keep moving forward towards your goals. It's NEVER too late! I'm still available for conversation, coaching and speaking engagements, just dm for details.

It's easy for us to focus on the negative. Sometimes we need to pause and appreciate all that is going right.
Wishing you all a restful and restorative holiday season!
