Hello families,
We have additional bike and scooter parking at Old River. Grades 6-8 bike/scooter parking will be inside the enclosure on the north side of the MP room. All student riders must wear properly fitting helmets and walk their bike/scooter once they turn into the parent loop from learning lane.
Parents, please review these important details with your student riders.
- Follow all traffic signs, signals, and rules of the road.
- Yield to pedestrians and always show courtesy and respect.
- Never "tag," startle, chase, or interfere with pedestrians.
- California law prohibits carrying passengers on e-scooters.
- Never park your bike or scooter in a fire lane.
Your partnership in helping our students travel safely and respectfully to and from school is absolutely critical. By working together and reinforcing these expectations at home and at school, we can help ensure that every student arrives safely each morning and returns safely home each afternoon.
