With the absence of a native apex predator our local ecosystems remain unbalanced with flora and fauna out of check and out of whack... Its not just about analyzing for our current conditions and adjusting with what we have, but looking to the past and what is missing in our native ecos. What effects have arisen from their absence? Reintroduction of these "lost" species is a key component to restoration of a balanced and healthy ecosystem.
