After 9 incredible years, today we celebrate the retirement of Debbie Kelso, who has meant so much to our Head Start family ❤️

Debbie has done so much more than prepare meals—she has filled Schuyler County Head Start with warmth, kindness, and care every single day. From early mornings in the kitchen to the smiles she brought to each child, her love has truly been the secret ingredient in everything she’s made.

She has nourished not just growing bodies, but growing hearts. Her dedication, patience, and genuine love for our kids and staff will never be forgotten.

While we are so excited for this next chapter in her life, she will be deeply missed at Schuyler County Head Start. Thank you for 9 wonderful years of service, laughter, and love.

Today, six CAPNEMO employees passed their Family Development Credential exam! 🥳

The Family Development Credential (FDC) through the University of Connecticut is a nationally recognized, competency-based professional development program for frontline family workers.

Our employees dedicated themselves to 17 weeks of classes, meeting once a week while continuing to work full time. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and their commitment to empowering families to build confidence and achieve healthy self-reliance.
