Kingfisher County Glow Big Or Glow Home 5K/1 Mile Fun Walk

A few days behind but I wanted to express my gratitude to those in the community and from areas outside our community who came and participated in The Glow Big Or Glow Home Race To Stomp Out Hunger Event this past Friday.

Also, to the Student Government Board, Kingfisher Community Collaborative, TSET, Sooner Success, FBC Kingfisher, P&K Equipment and Mercy Hospital for offering man power, equipment, funding and support.

We had an overwhelming turnout of people-300+ and generous canned goods as well monetary donations collected.

I did not get a lot of photos so anyone who attended please feel free to share them on our page! I had a blast and hope everyone else did too!!

Tomorrow is the day folks! Online preregistration is closed but you can still come out tomorrow and register at the event and claim our freebies while supplies last or just come out to enjoy the nice evening and help us supply our local food banks! Don't forget to wear clothes that can be colored with the glow powder and white or fluorescent colors glow the best! Race to start just before dark no later than 8:30.

Friday, April 14th 7:30 pm registration at FBC Kingfisher South Side parking Lot. Free community event with encouragement to bring canned food items. Items will be provided to Kingfisher County Food Banks.

Pre registrants will receive a free T-shirt, glow necklace and glasses, other participants registering at the event to receive the same while supplies last. Prizes for best dressed and 1st place finishers in the men, women, high school and children's divisions.
