You may feel exhausted, discouraged, or ready to stop but being tired doesn’t mean your journey is over. Give yourself permission to rest, regroup, and keep going. There is still more ahead for you. 💜

DSS did it again today at the Community Wellness Event at Shiloh Baptist Church in Winston-Salem! 🙌🏽💙

There is nothing like getting out into the community, meeting people where they are, sharing resources, answering questions, and helping connect individuals and families to the services they need.

And what makes days like this even more special is when you are given the opportunity to share resources AND share the Word of God, encourage someone, and pray with people right there in the community. 🙏🏽❤️

Sometimes people need more than information they need to know that somebody sees them, cares about them, and is willing to stand with them in prayer.

Serving in the community is truly satisfying because you get to see firsthand why this work matters. One conversation, one resource, one prayer, or one connection can make a difference in someone’s life.

I’m grateful for another opportunity to represent DSS, serve our community, build meaningful relationships, and allow my faith to show through the way I serve.

Serving with purpose. Connecting with compassion. Sharing hope. Making a difference one person at a time. 🙌🏽💙

Today was another GREAT day of outreach! 🙌🏽💙

Winston Salem University was EPIC today! All throughout the day, people kept saying, “Thank you for coming. This information was needed.”

That is why community outreach matters. When organizations collaborate, share resources, educate, and meet people where they are, lives can be impacted.

I am grateful to be part of work that goes beyond a table and a brochure. We are building relationships, opening doors, and connecting people to resources that can truly make a difference.

Serving people. Supporting one another. Building partnerships. Strengthening communities. 💙

What a BLESSING yesterday was! 🙌🏽💙

I had the opportunity to attend this event with the Forsyth County Department of Social Services, and it was such a blessing to connect, network, and collaborate with incredible organizations and individuals who share the same heart, vision, and passion for serving our communities.

I truly believe that God will place you in rooms where purpose meets purpose! Every conversation, every connection, and every opportunity reminded me that we are not called to do this work alone.

When God brings people together with a shared mission, powerful things can happen. Partnerships are formed, resources are shared, doors are opened, and communities are strengthened.

I am grateful for the opportunity to represent the Forsyth County Department of Social Services while building relationships with other organizations committed to helping individuals and families in our community. 💙

I left encouraged, inspired, and even more excited about what God is doing and what is still to come! 🙌🏽

There is POWER in collaboration, POWER in connection, and POWER in people coming together for a greater purpose.

God is connecting the dots! Keep serving. Keep showing up. Keep walking in purpose. 💙✨

Loving yourself means recognizing that your needs, peace, and well-being matter too. When you care for yourself, you are better able to show up for others from a place of strength instead of exhaustion. 💜

Listen, “Keep your eyes on the purpose, not the people” stay focused on why you started and what you are called to accomplish instead of becoming distracted by other people’s opinions, criticism, approval, or behavior.

Everyone will not understand your vision, support your growth, or celebrate your progress. If you spend too much time watching people, you can lose sight of the assignment in front of you.

Don’t let people distract you from your purpose. Stay focused, stay faithful, and keep moving forward.
