Update- Good evening friends! We have found a space for our annual Dewey’s Fundraiser coming up next month! Unfortunately this year we are going to have to pay for the space at $100 a week. Would anyone be willing to sponsor and or assist in the cost of the rental? Our fundraiser runs from mid November through Christmas Eve. If anyone is willing to assist in anyway please private message us! We greatly appreciate every one of you! Thank you so much in advance!

Update on Raleigh Anders , please continue to pray. His oxygen went really low this weekend from fluid in his lungs. He has been too unstable for the doctors to do surgery for a trach but has been on the ventilator over 3 weeks now. His kidneys have also stopped working which is causing the fluid build up. They have started dialysis to help get the fluid off. Please pray his kidneys will bounce back and the dialysis is temporary and pray his lungs recover so he can eventually get off the ventilator. This is his go fund me please share - https://www.gofundme.com/f/emergency-fund-for-20-year-old-brother-on-life-support?attribution_id=sl%3A02a8c9b8-5a24-43ce-8326-29530da158ea&lang=en_US&ts=1788234802&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_content=amp30-control&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwVERDUAUDkqBwZG9mBWV4dG4DYWVtAjEwAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHoNAabsCbw5oQ48EldKfuIR_8egOX_8uP9QE8tS6d-muFFSt0kPf1JIll-uA_aem_Y7N_CQdzmTpoCo51YblyZA

** Please take a minute to read this announcement **

Hello all!

I am going to break the fourth wall here for a second and share some important information regarding the Band Booster Organization. As many may know, the Band Boosters is run by volunteer parents who are elected to run the non-profit organization for set terms. As the proud father of a 2026 West Stokes graduate, my term as president has come to a close.

Serving the last two years as President of the WSBB has been an absolute honor. Getting to know and help these students was a blessing that I didn't even know I needed in my life, and I am forever a better person thanks to this opportunity.

This week I begin transitioning my duties to a fresh batch of board members who are excited to build off of what has been, and take this boosters to new heights. I am excited to see what the future holds!

As my last action as President, I want to launch a final initiative to help set the students and the WSBB up for success in the coming year. "100 for 100" came from a simple idea: Think of the difference 100 people donating $100 to this band would make. With rising costs all around and a band that is growing at incredible rates, the donations we take in are more important than ever. I believe that there are for sure 100 people (alumni, parents, supporters of the arts) in the area that would be willing to help set this band up for success this year. Please share this and let's see if we can make this a success!

See the attached flyer for information, or visit our donation site at:

Thank you all for the support over the last few years, and for letting me fill your feeds with Dewey's store updates and football game scores!

Sincerely,

Nick Winfrey
West Stokes Band Booster President
