The West Stokes High School Band Boosters is a Non-Profit Organization that aims to provide support for the Band Program at West Stokes High School. We are a collective of parents whose students are participating in the band or marching band program. We are not an entity of the high school or of the of the School Board of Education of Stokes County and therefore are not restricted by the regulations created by those entities.

Hello Friends!

The band is in need of a portable power station that has over 900w and has a minimum of 4 outlets. Ours died and we need a new one very soon. Does anyone have or know someone that has one and no longer needs that would be willing to donate to the band? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Our band budget is very small at the moment and what we do have has been allocated already. We are pushing very hard to have some fundraisers in the near future, and we most certainly will, but until then we are asking for the communities help with this.

*For the upcoming marching band season we have the following musicians (keyboard, keyboard amp, and bass amp all together 850w) and this is why we are asking for the power station.

THANK YOU to Lowes Foods for allowing us to post outside the store today for a very successful water drive! We collected over 150 total cases of water from the store and very generous patrons! We did receive quite a few cash donations which we greatly appreciate to help fund necessities for the upcoming band season. We couldn’t have done it without each and everyone of you that contributed!

Thank you to all the band students that showed up to help out. Thank you to all the parents that showed up to assist.

Thank you to my fellow band booster board members that busted your butts today too!

It’s already that time of the year again! We are closing in on the marching band season (Camp starts 7/20). Our kiddos will be out in this miserable heat for 2 weeks for band camp. Let’s help keep them hydrated with donations of bottled water!

** Please take a minute to read this announcement **

Hello all!

I am going to break the fourth wall here for a second and share some important information regarding the Band Booster Organization. As many may know, the Band Boosters is run by volunteer parents who are elected to run the non-profit organization for set terms. As the proud father of a 2026 West Stokes graduate, my term as president has come to a close.

Serving the last two years as President of the WSBB has been an absolute honor. Getting to know and help these students was a blessing that I didn't even know I needed in my life, and I am forever a better person thanks to this opportunity.

This week I begin transitioning my duties to a fresh batch of board members who are excited to build off of what has been, and take this boosters to new heights. I am excited to see what the future holds!

As my last action as President, I want to launch a final initiative to help set the students and the WSBB up for success in the coming year. "100 for 100" came from a simple idea: Think of the difference 100 people donating $100 to this band would make. With rising costs all around and a band that is growing at incredible rates, the donations we take in are more important than ever. I believe that there are for sure 100 people (alumni, parents, supporters of the arts) in the area that would be willing to help set this band up for success this year. Please share this and let's see if we can make this a success!
