Finally, JRG is a school that understands that learning is fun, and that school also provides an opportunity to laugh with and

PromiseMakers Kickoff & Back-to-School Open House
Join us for an exciting evening as we kick off the school year at JRG! Families and students are invited to drop off supplies, explore the building, meet teachers, and participate in our PromiseMakers Kickoff event.

Date: Wednesday, August 26, 2026
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Location: JR Gerritts Middle School
Enter: Door 17S (Stadium Parking Lot)

Evening Agenda

4:30 – 5:30 p.m. | Supply Drop-Off & Dinner
Bring your school supplies, organize your locker, and get ready for the year ahead!

5:30 – 6:00 p.m. | PromiseMakers Kickoff – Large Gym
Join us for an inspiring PromiseMakers message during our Back-to-School Night. Students who make the PromiseMaker pledge will be entered into prize drawings!

6:00 – 7:00 p.m. | Open House, Supply Drop-Off, & Dinner
Find your classrooms, finish putting supplies in lockers, enjoy dinner, and meet your teachers as we prepare for a great school year at JRG!

Bring cash!

Families can enjoy dinner — a $5 Hot Dog Meal includes a hot dog, chips, and water.

Join JRG PromiseMakers for our Miles That Matter Run/Walk on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 3:00–5:00 p.m.

Students and their families are invited to take part in this FREE 2-mile run/walk from JRG to Sunset Park as we celebrate making healthy choices and living to***co-, alcohol-, and drug-free.

🗓 Registration is required and will be available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal from August 3–September 18.
