JR Gerritts Middle School Welcome to J.R. Gerritts Middle School, home of the Gators. Come join us

Our most important focus is learning, as we build the academic bridge that will lead to success in high school and beyond. In the process, we focus on building leadership and the other social and emotional skills our students will need to be successful in the 21st century. Finally, JRG is a school that understands that learning is fun, and that school also provides an opportunity to laugh with and enjoy life while engaging in the many learning activities we have to offer. Our teachers go above and beyond to provide the best possible learning experience for our students, and our students consistently meet and exceed expectations as learners and as young people of character.

What a great night for our Gators Cross Country team! The whole team did an awesome job competing on a very wet course in Fond du Lac. Despite the challenging conditions, our runners showed great effort, determination, and Gator pride! We are so proud of the way they competed and represented JRG!

Limited concessions will be available for purchase. Students should eat dinner BEFORE the event and wear athletic shoes with light-colored soles.

Miles That Matter was a Huge Success!

What an incredible afternoon at our PromiseMakers Miles That Matter Run/Walk Family Event!

Our Gators showed up, got moving, and celebrated their commitment to making healthy, positive choices. We are so proud of everyone who participated and helped make the event such a great success!

580 JRG students have already pledged to be PromiseMakers!

But we’re not done yet! Our goal is to have 100% of our students make the PromiseMakers pledge.

Let’s finish strong, Gators! Every pledge represents a commitment to living to***co-, alcohol-, and drug-free and making choices that support a healthy future.

Join JRG PromiseMakers for our Miles That Matter Run/Walk on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 3:00–5:00 p.m.

Students and their families are invited to participate in this FREE 2-mile run/walk from JRG to Sunset Park as we celebrate making healthy choices and living to***co-, alcohol-, and drug-free!

Event: Wednesday, September 23
Time: 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Route: JRG to Sunset Park
Cost: FREE
