It’s with very heavy heart that today I had to let go of my baby girl Lilly. 🐩 She has been my right hip companion through my sickest moments and my healing times over the past 11 yrs. Lilly was the smartest dog with such a strong loving personality. Her memory will be forged forever in the puppies she left behind and in the hearts she touched.❤️❤️ Till we meet again…💔

What is the single biggest challenge you're facing today in your life right now?

🌟 Embrace the Present, Transform Your Life
Living with chronic illness and pain has taught me one invaluable lesson: there's truly no moment like the present.
Every second is an opportunity to seize life, to embrace joy, and to take control of our well-being.
That's why I'm on a mission to share my journey and help others like me navigate through the challenges and discover the beauty of the present moment.
Imagine this: by improving just 1% each day, we could become 37 times better by the end of the year.
It's a staggering thought, isn't it? While the idea of turning into superhumans in a year may seem far-fetched, the truth is, even the smallest changes can lead to profound transformations.
But here's the catch: traditional life improvement methods often preach discipline, which, let's face it, with chronic illness is the hardest thing to follow.
Instead, I've adopted a different approach—one rooted in joy, satisfaction, and what simply feels good.
It's all about embracing our passions, our obsessions, and finding what truly lights up our souls.
So, here's my guide to self-improvement that anyone can easily follow, even if you have chronic pain or illness:
😊 What makes you happy: Make a list of the things that bring you joy, that ignite your spirit, and make you feel alive.
Whether it's reading a book on the train or indulging in a guilty pleasure, cherish these moments and prioritize them in your day.
😏 What’s bringing you down: Acknowledge the things that drain your energy, that weigh you down, and that simply suck the life out of you.
Maybe it's exercise you dread or tedious admin work.
Whatever it is, confront it head-on and find creative ways to make it more bearable.
🥰 Bringing the two together: Pair dreaded tasks with things you enjoy.
Hate washing dishes? Listen to your favorite audiobook or music while completing this task.
Dread admin work? Treat yourself to a delicious milkshake while tackling it.
It's all about making the journey of self-improvement a little sweeter.
Remember, progress isn't about drastic changes or overnight success.
It's about consistent, incremental steps forward.
And when we focus on what feels good, when we embrace our passions and obsessions, transformation becomes not only possible but inevitable.
As Steve Jobs famously said, "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward."
Trust in the journey, trust in yourself, and trust that each small step forward is leading you to a brighter, more fulfilling future.
Write it down, reflect on it, and make those sn hill mall changes that will ultimately lead to big results.
Embrace the present, transform your life, and remember, there's truly “no moment like the present.” 🌟

“Just Do It” Attitude to Chronic Illness & Health
How many nights have you laid in bed, promising yourself a morning gym session, only to wake up and rethink it?
Trust me, I've been there too. Living with chronic illness and pain led me to discover a path to staying healthier and more vibrant.
Understanding that dropping the fitness ball altogether isn't the solution, I realized the importance of staying active and eating right for long-term well-being.
It's about customizing a nutrition and exercise plan tailored to your body's response to lifestyle choices.
My approach involves a mix of movement sessions throughout the day – be it stretches in bed, Tai Chi, walking, or water exercises.
It's not a rigid routine but a consistent commitment to keeping the body active.
The "Just do it" attitude is the driving forceExercise isn't about intensity; it's about consistency.
My recommendation includes regular cardiovascular and resistance training, forming a balanced routine for fat burning and overall fitness enhancement.
Starting an exercise program comes with realistic expectations.
In weeks, you'll feel better and more energized.
In months, you'll notice size reduction and increased lean muscle.
Beyond six months, weight loss becomes more rapid.
Once committed to regular exercise, diet changes are equally vital.
I've found success in adopting a diet of low-fat, low-carb, high-protein meals, complemented by a 10-18 hour fasting program.
Palm-sized protein portions, balanced with complex carbohydrates, vegetables, and healthy fats, make for easy-to-follow guidelines.
So, as you embark on your journey towards a healthier you, remember: just do it, in whatever way suits you best.
What will be the first “Just Do It” thing you adapt or change in your routine to work towards a healthier you?

🌟 Embracing Purpose: A Journey to Joy and Fulfillment 🌈
As I sit down to reflect on the chapters of my life, I can't help but wonder about the incredible impact that purpose has had on my journey.
It's like the guiding star that has led me through the darkest nights and illuminated the path to joy and happiness.
Today, I want to share with you just how pivotal purpose has been in shaping my existence.
1️⃣ An Anchor in Stormy Seas: Life, with its unpredictability, can often feel like navigating stormy seas.
Purpose has been my anchor, grounding me and providing stability in the face of chronic illness, pain, trauma, divorce, abuse, and uncertainty.
It's the compass that points me towards hope when the waves of uncertainty threaten to engulf me.
2️⃣ Fuel for Resilience: Living with chronic illness and pain requires a reservoir of resilience.
Purpose acts as the fuel that keeps my resilience tank full.
It's the reason I push through the tough days, knowing that there's a greater goal waiting on the other side.
3️⃣ Community Connection: Purpose has helped me develop connections with a community of warriors facing similar battles.
Sharing a common purpose creates bonds that are unbreakable, offering support, understanding, and shared victories.
4️⃣ Empowerment through Advocacy: Having a purpose has transformed me into an advocate, whether it's raising awareness about chronic illnesses or debunking myths.
It's the driving force behind my efforts to educate others and create a more compassionate, healthier, joy-filled, positive culture and informed people.
5️⃣ Meaning in Everyday Moments: Purpose isn't always grand; it's found in the everyday moments that make life extraordinary.
Whether it's making a meal for my family, spending time with my grandbabies, or just sharing insights on social media.
These seemingly simple acts are infused with purpose.
6️⃣ A Ray of Light in the Darkest Moments: Chronic illness can cast shadows that seem insurmountable.
Purpose, however, is the ray of light that pierces through the darkness, reminding me that even in the toughest times, I have a reason to keep going.
7️⃣ Motivation for Self-Care: Purpose has taught me the importance and necessity of self-care.
Taking care of myself isn't just about managing my illness; it's a commitment to being the best version of myself so I can continue fulfilling my purpose.
Having purpose has become my "why" in a world that sometimes feels overwhelming. It's the driving force behind my mornings, propelling me out of bed with a determination to make a difference, whether big or small.
Whether it's a client meeting, a cuddle with my grandbaby, a post educating the public, or simply preparing breakfast for my husband, each action is a manifestation of my purpose.
I encourage you to explore your own purpose.
It's not a one-size-fits-all journey, but the rewards are boundless. Let's strive to live in the "No moment like the Present," finding joy, health, and education together.
Here's to purpose, the reason we all should continue to seek, find, and experience joy.
