Chaparral High School is making history tomorrow by graduating its first four year class and Blu has been right there from the beginning. Meet LeAja, one of our Class of 2026 graduates. 💛
After moving to Texas during her junior year and overcoming challenges growing up in a single-parent home, LeAja found support and mentorship from the teachers and staff at Chaparral High School who helped guide her along the way. This fall, she will continue her journey at Paul Quinn College.
We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and excited to see what the future holds for her.
Congratulations, LeAja — your story is an inspiration, and we know you’re ready for what’s next. 🎓

4:35 p.m. Update: Update: The lockdown at Chaparral High School has been lifted following guidance from law enforcement. The incident was in the neighborhood near Chaparral High School, not on campus.
Thank you to our students, staff, families, and law enforcement partners for their patience and cooperation as the situation was investigated.

4:22 p.m. Update: The reported safety concern is believed to be in the area surrounding the campus, not inside the school. Out of an abundance of caution, Chaparral High School remains in lockdown while law enforcement investigates. More information to follow.
