i’m not sure why my Facebook has been taken down. They said there was something that did not meet Facebook standards in which I cannot possibly understand unless somebody has posted something on my Facebook that was somehow discriminatory or politically incorrect. My Facebook was about my history as a music teacher and a place for my past students to get in touch with me that I have lost contact with in case they could not get a hold of me.

Until I understand why Facebook has done such a thing, please be patient until I am able to put up a cherished Facebook that I had for many years at Maui’s Music and Talent Institute.

I’ll be coming home soon, back to the islands with much inspiration from my travels that will contribute to my “avant -garde” methods of teaching music/painting, the compositions that are so familiar when coaching on Maui nei.
My prior students, for 40 years, will understand.
I have much to share.

I look forward to sharing my interpretations of music/sound/colors, associated with my teaching methods, from many places I have traveled.
Most recently I have learned much from American Indian tribes/indigenous ceremony that understands my teaching methods, and that it is also very much a part of the teachings, storytelling with song, dance, vibrant paintings of within each Pueblo in New Mexico.

At one time in ‘84 Maui, pioneering my passion, my teaching methods, they were labeled as “unethical”. By colleagues of mine in this field.A very strong term. For most local , cultural minded schools on Maui and all islands, only Hawaiiana song and dance, art of all mediums took presidence and yet to be introduced to with what I had to offer unlike your “standard”music teacher.
It never did discourage me.

At present, I am here on the map, so reclusive ❤️
I feel more strongly, more passionate than ever to share, musically as multifaceted as it can be expressed in different mediums , what I have learned on my “sabbatical” of sorts traveling, Covid or not, I hope to be home, Maui, sooner than later.
