The play Roshambo, written by Key West writers, is a fictional Stock Island fantasy set in a chicken shack and convenience store that is playing now through May 1st at the Key West Theater. Roshambo is the first play ever to be set on Stock Island and explores the different timelines that occur once the characters play the popular game “Roshambo,” also known as “Rock, Paper, Scissors.” The result of each Roshambo game hurls the characters into different outcomes, offering different timelines in every scene. It is the first play to be set on Stock Island and is unlike anything seen thus far onstage in Key West.

This innovative evening at the theater, directed by Key West native Michael Marrero, is written and created by Jon Rhoads with additional work by J.B. McLendon, and stars local favorites Pony Charvet, Lliam Dufresne, Mook J, Kelly Jane, Chad Newman, and Laura Richardson.
