Marine Biology Camp Session 3 - Day 5 included a visit to the Aplysia lab at UM followed by a fish tagging trip to the Mashta Bridge where the campers also got to see 3 manatees and a nurse shark. Thank you again to the Village of Key Biscayne for allowing us to fish from the bridge and thank you to the Key Biscayne Police Department officer who helped with traffic control.

I'm very fortunate that there are outstanding former students around to help me make Marine Biology Camp fun and educational. I guess you could say that last Friday was St. Christopher's Alumni Day at camp!

Here's a video from Saturday's tarpon feeding at the annual UM Sports Hall of Fame Celebrity Fishing Tournament in Islamorada. The kids not only got to feed the tarpon, but we also had a manatee drop by. Getting that manatee to swim by at just the right time was no easy task. LOL
