Ok, beloved choir folk: finished one year of nursing pre-req college classes with a 3.9 GPA (many hours of work)! Taking the HESI exam on the 26th of June. Finding out if I make the cut (many applicants and few slots) sometime after July 1st. Will update you as soon as I know or before school begins - whichever comes first. Hope you are still singing. Remember, your voice is free and easy to transport but it needs exercise and TLC! Stayed tuned! (Literally and figuratively)😉. Now - back to the books......

To all my singers - past, present, and future. I sure miss you all. I just wanted to let everyone know that the reason there is no choir this year is that I have gone back to college and will be applying to the nursing program in KTN. So, while I work really hard on my science classes and prepare for the entrance exam I need to let other activities go. Once I know what the decision is, I will update you. Please keep singing!!!!!! 😍

Ketchikan Community Children's Choir - Concert Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Arts Council. Listen to beautiful children's voices surrounded by a background of magnificent seascapes! This spring's choir group is small but they are so dedicated and their voices work so well together. Excited for the concert! Come join us. Donations welcomed.

The children's choir sang at the Monthly Grind last night after only six rehearsals and sang beautifully! I just want to say thank you to my singers for their dedication and hard work and to their parents for getting them involved in choir. You are a treasure.

Singers had a four hour rehearsal on Saturday! They worked hard and we are almost ready for our big show on Tuesday, December 8th at 7:00 p.m. Please bring a friend and enjoy the music!
