🏫 Please walk your child to their classroom and be sure to sign them in for the day.

Attention all Parents/Guardians of HS/EHS children that are currently enrolled!

We are looking for parents to get on our Policy Council ballot!

Policy Council is the "PTA" of Head Start. It is designed so that parents/guardians can learn and understand the operations of the program. If elected, you will get information, help plan, discuss, then approve or disapprove of the following: how the program will operate, program budget, recruitment and training plans, etc. You will also have a hand in our self-assessment at the end of the program year.

How do I sign up to be on the ballot? It's simple!
📞 Call us and speak to someone in Family Service or 📱Comment your name on this post or send our page a private message.

Once we finalize the ballot, ballots will be sent home with your children and the parents/guardians vote for the representatives! Once ballots are sent back, all votes are tallied and we will be in contact with the reps with the most votes. If they decline their spot, we will move on to the next person with the highest votes.

Why should you be involved? Parents are the first educators of their children and Policy Council will enable you to know what your child is doing, who is working around your child, and you will help this program be the best it can be!

Bonus? Meetings are once a month and we offer a $50 stipend for attending! (All meetings have the option to be virtual or in-person). Also, if you attend meetings in person, we offer gas mileage reimbursement!

Sign up today! Ballots will be finalized on Monday, September 14, 2026 so submit your name by then! 😊
