Congratulations to doctoral student Jennie Rozsa who is the Director of the Cleveland Orchestra Children’s Choruses. She recently conducted the choir in Britten’s War Requiem at Severance Hall with The Cleveland Orchestra, The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, The Cleveland Orchestra Children’s Chorus & Klaus Mäkelä.

We had a great time on Friday hearing from our Spring semester student teachers in Music Education Studio Class. They shared excellent advice from their time in the field. We wish you all nothing but the best as you begin your careers!

Yesterday was a special day. We were thrilled to welcome back to campus one of our most esteemed alumni, Dr. Patricia Shehan Campbell, who earned her PhD at Kent State. We heard amazing stories about her time here and how studying at Kent State led to an incredible career of accomplishments in music education.
