Name a trendier crochet duo, I’ll wait. 😂
Of course I had to try out Bernie Doll pattern. Was it easy to follow? Yes. Do I recommend that y’all get it? Absolutely! Do I plan on making more? Not at the moment. I wanted to make sure I could do Bernie justice, so it was a bit tedious putting him together. I may make a few more in a few weeks, but we’ll see how I feel. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Commissioned to do a green alien (won’t type his name so Disney doesn’t come after me 😅). I couldn’t NOT pair them together in a photo. Are there other crochet amigurumis that have been this successful?? I’d love to know what other ones y’all have made!

Jack Simon unintentionally made this the perfect photo for the Paw Print Pillow. I decided on a whim to test this pattern out for . I love animals, so I couldn’t NOT test it. This pattern was EASY and quick using some chunky yarn. wrote detailed instructions, where I didn’t have to question the instructions at all. PLUS, this pillow is perfect for dog AND cat lovers. 😉 🐶🐱

I wasn’t sure what I wanted to post as 2020 came to end. I had seen the 2020 Dumpster Fire and whipped one up last minute, since I felt it was a true depiction of 2020. May the frumpy 2020 Dumpster Fire serve as a reminder that 2020 was a year full of trials and tribulations that I wanted to set on fire. I am looking forward to this year and figuring out how I would like to continue Hook & Seoul. I think I am slowly figuring out what direction I’d like to go that will make me feel I am being my most authentic and genuine self. Yes, I want people to see and enjoy what I’ve made, but is how I’m presenting it a true reflection of who I am? I’ve struggled a bit wanting to make sure that what I post looks good, This year, however, I want to make sure that whatever I post isn’t more about what looks good, but more what reflects me and my crochet style/personality. I’ve gotten inspiration from so many other makers that I think I’m starting to learn how to get into my own groove. Cheers to 2021!

Yesterday, and I took a day trip out to Baltimore. One thing I had been missing from Richmond was . Come to find out, they have a sister store in Baltimore!! Although I’m not the best at it, I try to practice being environmentally friendly when I can. We checked out and I was in heaven! I love their mission on encouraging environmentally sustainable behavior AND making sure it’s affordable for ALL! I plan on making a snufflemat for my pets with the fleece, practicing sewing masks with the cotton fabric, and need I say more with the yarn? 😂 Are there any reuse craft stores near you? This trip truly made my day and I can’t wait to check them out again! If you’re near the area or in the area, please check this store out for your craft needs!

WhoaaAAA! I had such a blast being part of Craftacular Show! I hope everyone else was able to enjoy it and help support small businesses! One major takeaway - START PREPPING IN SUMMER!! I now understand why people do that. 😅 I took some time this week to work on some smaller commissions for some friends. Look how gorgeous these earrings turned out (pattern by and earring tags designed by )! I might have to make a pair for myself!

What started as Howl, the littlest Ghost turned into crocheting Frank, the littlest Monster..and before you knew it, it turned into a cute Halloween garland with candy corn and a pumpkin! I knew I wanted to add some Halloween spice to our door, but didn’t know what until I started this project! What is your favorite Halloween thing to crochet? Howl still might be my favorite, but the others are a close second!(pattern designers are tagged in photo!)

My boyfriend and I were talking about how we haven’t seen such a huge push for voting until this election. It’s been really inspiring to see so many people using their voices! came up with yet another amazing pattern with this Vote Beanie! These beanies are for sale in my Etsy shop and the link is in the bio. I love that crocheting is a form of and allows me and others to use our voices in this way!

Fall is my FAVORITE season! I’m a proud, basic fall girl who loves PSLs!! 🤷🏻‍♀️ With the upcoming apples, pumpkins, and cozy cardigans galore, I just wanted to pay one last homage to Summer. The Boho Hair Scarf and Counting Daisies Market Bag designed by gave me such summer vibes with the green yarn! What are some of your favorite fall items to crochet?

“Women belong in all places where decisions are being made.”
2020 has been an unfortunately, memorable year. I hope the only good that comes from this year is that many more people become empowered to fight harder for what’s right. We lost a true gem who was an inspiration to many. Thank you to wonderful crocheters such as who designed this pattern of RBG. Also thank you to one of my dear friends, who taught me how badass Ruth Bader Ginsburg was.
