We serve as a support organization for the Kenosha Military Academy at Indian Trail HS & Academy and its Army JROTC program.

Our material and/or activity is not sponsored by KUSD or its personnel. Friends of the Kenosha Military Academy JROTC exists to foster a network that inspires our Kenosha cadets to work towards their full potential. Our focus is to build a community of supporters that work to create an active interest in the JROTC program, to promote goodwill and due recognition, and raise funds to assist in meeting the needs of the cadets, academy & its co-curricular activities.

🚨 Meet Our School Resource Officer

👮‍♂️ My name is Ladonte Pittman, and I’m proud to serve as the SRO for Indian Trail High School & Academy. I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, but I’ve called Kenosha home since April 2014. I’m happily married and have three children. I joined the Kenosha Police Department in September 2022.

After high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I served for eight years, including two tours in Iraq. I ended my military service as a Sergeant in April 2014. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Technical Management with a specialization in Global Supply Chain Management from DeVry University, and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultural Foundations of Community Engagement and Education from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

🚔 I became a police officer because I’ve always wanted to make a positive difference in my community. As an officer, I have the chance to work with different communities, help people in need, and seek justice where it’s needed. As your SRO, I am committed to building strong relationships with students, changing the narrative around law enforcement, and providing a safe environment for both students and staff.

💬 I believe I can make a lasting impact as an SRO, not just by maintaining safety but also by teaching students important life skills. I’m passionate about helping students develop coping mechanisms and responsible ways to handle stress and anger. I hope to be a role model of service, kindness, and integrity in their lives.

I look forward to working with the students and staff at Indian Trail High School this year!

😊

Hey KMA families, ticket prices are reduced to $45 for civilians (and FREE for veteran +2 family members)

Looks like a good time and challenge for any of our cadets!!

Also, Kenosha’s American Legion Family was one of the organizations that issued award medals to our cadets at year-end last year.
