My first gallery showing a few years back will always be a fun memory. My husband came with me, and it felt like we were trouble makers crashing someone else's party. Watching others look at your art in a public setting, not to mention being surrounded by other artists with far greater skills than I, was an odd feeling. A little exciting, joyful and horrifying all at the same time๐คฃ I am so grateful that my partner in crime doesn't take things too seriously because it's a great way to adventure through life. This painting is also up on a public utility box in Kennewick. Is it Eastern Washington, or is it Texas? Funny, as I post this, my man is in Abilene right now. These desert hills I grew up around are much prettier than the ones near Abilene. The smell of sagebrush still zooms me back to my childhood.
