One bike, one child at a time, we are making an impact to fight illiteracy in our local community. Bikes for Books is an incentive based literacy program.
Helping kids discover the joy of reading and making a measurable difference in our schools and our community. The program is administered by the local elementary schools to develop students' reading skills by increasing the number of books they read and offering students who participate an opportunity to win a new bicycle. Bicycles are provided by Kennewick Masonic Lodge under the direction of the elementary schools superintendent and in partnership with Scott's Cycle & Sports.
