Hey it’s throwback… Saturday? 😆

I’ve been reflecting a lot on gratitude this past week. My work as a musician and ability to share that passion has been a cornerstone of what makes me… well… ME! And I am so thankful to have that.

Also grateful to still do the occasional duet with this very silly, young-at-heart fellow!

Masonic Villages' music therapists are saying "Don't stop the music" to COVID-19. In 2020, they held 980 one-on-one sessions in Sewickley and 4,346 one-on-one sessions in Elizabethtown. Music programs are also recorded for and shown on the campus TV stations. Thanks for your flexibility in the face of a global pandemic and your commitment to providing therapeutic music experiences for residents!

Hi, friends! A bit about this page (and me):

Since I began as a high school student, I've spent two decades informally teaching piano to folks from 6 to 90 years old (really!).

Informed by my career as a music therapist, my approach is very much person-centered. If you're looking for a task-master who will rap your knuckles, you've come to the wrong place!

While music theory and classical knowledge is undoubtedly important, most people (especially kiddos) aren't fantasizing about mastering Bach fugues. Great if you are! But most of us just want to play songs from our favorite genres. Whatever you or your child’s music goals are, I’m here to help you begin!
