City.

Nritya was established in Kansas City in 1988 by
Hema Sharma at the insistence of several community
members wishing to promote classical Indian dance. In the Greater Kansas City area, Nritya is recognized by:

k The Nelson Atkins Museum
k The Shawnee Mission, Blue Valley & Kansas City
Missouri School Districts
k The India Association of Kansas City
k The Gujarathi Samaj
Nritya has been on the Kansas Arts Commission's Arts
on Tour Roster since 2006.
