The Third Grade Animation Project is live on YouTube! The assignment was 1) think up a very simple concept, 2) use good stop motion animation techniques to create an animated short, and 3) use iMovie for post-production, adding sound effects and music. A few groups had time to create their own commercials and pattern block animations to include in our class video.

These third graders have been doing such a great job. They're creating all the cutouts they need for paper animation movies. We'll be filming next week so they're working hard to get everything drawn, detailed, cut out, and prepared. I've really enjoyed working with this group!
