We hope everyone is having a wonderful, warm Christmas! The snow was fun, but Kathe was snowed in for 3 days and that was enough. Gregg drives in the snow, but she doesn't. When it warmed up a little, we drove up to Multnomah Falls to see it frozen. It was amazing! Merry Christmas and Happy 2017! Gregg and Kathe Allison

The 1966 McNary Class Reunion Committee has made a decision to contribute the remaining funds from our 50th Reunion to a McNary High School Student Fund. The money is to be used for academic and athletic fees, scholarships, and whatever the school deems appropriate.

Classmates who wish to contribute further may send a tax-refundable check to:

PRESENTED AT MCNARY SATURDAY EVENING DINNER by Bill Hodges 7/16/2016:
What an Honor / Coming from the land of LONESOME DOVE and “THE HAT CREEK CATTLE COMPANY” I’m glad to be with you all this evening. Traveling most of my business life viewing the hills and far horizons, I recognize my own littleness in my journey of life. Having the opportunity to be a CELTIC and to know each of you have been a treasure that I think of often. I find the older I get, the closer my association of my school roots becomes a formable part of who I am as a person. After 68 years you create an obligation of who you really are, your inspiration has become your past, your duty is in the present, your hope is in the future for your family and friends. I ask you to always remember – in all you do, in all you say, in all your works to cherish this moment of time. Make this visit, with us here at McNary this evening, a corner stone to your memories. I have enjoyed the memories of my visit to Oregon at this reunion, I hope to be with you all again, in the future. Have a safe trip home to your family and friends when you depart from us this evening. Thank you for coming.

As a result of our reunion get-together, there is talk going on about the class of McNary '66 all going on a cruise somewhere. After the walk through McNary on Sunday, it was obvious an Alumni organization needs to be formed so we are discussing this among ourselves. Anyone interested email Linda Collins at [email protected].

The page and website will continue to be a source of information and pictures. If you took any pictures please email them on to Robert Moore to post on website, and Kathy Allison on Facebook: both Robert and Kathy agreed to keep information flowing for the class of '66.

Last night was another late and great night with just the McNary graduates! So many people to see and talk to and so little time. We hope you all had as much fun as we had catching up with each other. We would love to see your pictures. What a great evening last night! So many people came and so many of us are living the great retired life! The weather is looking a little "ifee." Because we have planned to eat and dance on the patio at McNary Restaurant & Lounge, we may have to make some adjustments in our plans and eat inside and go to another place to dance. The Silver Spur or the Hitching post would be better because McNary does not have a dance floor inside.
