Keene Montessori School provides Montessori-inspired education for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.

In a safe, nurturing environment, we foster independence, confidence, respect, and a lifelong love of learning within our caring community. Two preschool Montessori classes for 3-6 year olds,
One toddler Montessori class for 15 months - 3 years old,
one infant classroom for 6 weeks to 15 months.

🕊️ Today our preschoolers joined Montessori students around the world in celebrating the International Day of Peace.

Together, they sang for peace across time zones and painted their own peace doves in preparation for the day.

A simple reminder that even our littlest learners can be part of something bigger. 💚

🎨 KMS is headed to Art in the Park!

Join us at the 68th Annual Art in the Park at Ashuelot River Park on Saturday, September 5 & Sunday, September 6!

We’ll be serving up hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chips, and cold drinks, plus homemade baked goods AND original artwork created by our KMS children!

Come enjoy a beloved Keene tradition, grab a bite, check out the art, and support our young artists and learners along the way. 💚

Our friends at Sophia’s Hearth are hosting their annual Fairy House Festival this Saturday, August 22 from 9–11:30 AM!

Build a fairy house, enjoy seasonal crafts, live music, and a morning of imagination and outdoor fun. 🌿✨

🎉 What a way to wrap up KMS Summer Camp!

Our Pre-K campers celebrated their last day with an inflatable carnival hosted by our KMS board members. Complete with sack races, bubbles, cotton candy, snow cones, and prizes for all! 🍧🎈

It was a beautiful day full of big smiles and lots of fun.

This week KMS Summer Campers learned all about our community helpers. 🚒 🚔 ✉️ 🌈

Our little learners welcomed local firefighters and police officers (and a very special canine friend!), took a walk to the post office to learn about the Postal Service, and ended the week watching a summer storm roll through beneath a beautiful rainbow.

A big thank you to all of our community helpers for spending some time with our little learners and showing them what you do. We’re grateful! 💚

The kids are loving summer camp—especially checking on the garden and seeing what’s ready to pick each day. Hands-on learning is even sweeter when you can eat it! 💚
