The wildfire smoke is back in our air. Air quality in southwest NH is unhealthy for sensitive groups (see www.airnow.gov for more info). I’ve also included a snapshot of the US and Canada to show the magnitude of the issue facing both our countries.

It’s not you, the air quality is poor again today. Current particulate levels are elevated in Keene and regionally. We are getting another downstream channel of wildfire smoke from Canada. Green is good! We are back into the good range for air quality. Air quality today is better than yesterday but still unhealthy for sensitive groups (elderly, young children, and preexisting conditions). Air quality should be good today but there were effects from the Canadian wildfires yesterday which might creep up again to moderate today. Click on the 24 hour video link at the website to see - there were some high particle peaks yesterday. Rain this weekend (while not fun) scrubs the particles away.
