Becky's Bees at Red Beard Orchards is located just outside Seward, NE. Offering a wide variety of handmade jewelry, hand knitted plushies and value added beeswax products, we are proud to announce that Becky's fantastic products will making a return to our for 2026 State Fair booth. We are buzzing with excitement as preparation for the 2026 Nebraska State Fair is underway!

This is our only fundraising activity each year. Funds generated at our state fair booth go towards educational events and our Youth Scholarship program.

We are still in need of volunteers to shifts. Please consider signing up for shift.

American beekeepers are facing an unfair challenge.

Honey consumption in the U.S. is at an all-time high, yet American beekeepers now supply just 17% of the market, down from 80% forty years ago.

Adulterated imported honey is one of the reasons. It undercuts American beekeepers and erodes consumer confidence in what’s really in the jar.

Today, I’m asking our beekeeping community to stand together by signing a letter supporting stronger standards for honey.

Beekeepers, check out this incredible opportunity from the One Hive Foundation!

The 2027 One Hive Travel Grant provides up to $1,500 for beekeepers to travel to the American Beekeeping Federation Annual Conference in Galveston Texas. Beekeepers will attend the workshop "Bee-Friendly Policy and Advocacy Training for Beekeepers" presented by Dr. Judy Wu-Smart of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Bee Lab.

Grant funds may be used for airfare, hotel, and other travel-related expenses. Recipients will also receive complimentary registration the ABF conference where they can hear current research and tools of the industry.
