The SAE Grant Program provides funding for individual SAE projects for Nebraska FFA members grades 7-11 who have a clearly described financial need. Grant requests may be any amount up to $2,000. Monday, Aug. 24th is our first meeting! This year we are inviting parents to attend. This is NOT mandatory for members or parents. We will be discussing the events for the year, policies for FFA, and other helpful information.

Mark your calendars for the high school CTSO Kick-off! High school students can come learn about FBLA, FCCLA, and FFA Aug. 17 at 6:30 in the high school commons. Food will be served and prizes will be given out!

We want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported the first ANNUAL Kearney County FFA Alumni and Supporters Golf Tournament. It was a huge success and we were able to give a large amount to each alumni and supporters chapter in our county! Thank you again and we can’t wait to put on an even bigger tournament next year! 🏌️⛳️🏌🏼‍♀️

The Minden Public Schools Bright Start Fun Run/Walk is almost here!

📅 Sunday, August 10
🕖 7:00 PM (immediately following Open House)

Come kick off the new school year with an evening of fun, fitness, and school spirit! Students, families, staff, and community members are all invited to participate.

🏃 Choose from:
💜 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
💜 5K Run/Walk

🎉 The event will end with an exciting Color Toss, plus there will be color stations along the route!

Students can still register under their grade level and ask family and friends to support them with donations. Grade levels will compete for fun prizes, and all proceeds benefit Minden Public Schools through the CL Jones Middle School Student Council and Minden FFA.

Let's start the school year on the right foot! We can't wait to see everyone there! 💜🐾

We had our biggest harvest of the year today and the cutest helper! Stop by and get some tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplants! 🍅🥒🍆

PSA- someone got a little happy helping mom and picked some green tomatoes. 🙃

Our officer team had a productive two days of learning, leadership, and planning. They spent Monday and Tuesday at Mahoney State Park planning for our upcoming school year.

🐐On the way to Mahoney, we stopped in Beatrice to visit Shepard’s Rest Goat and Sheep Sanctuary. Jen has over 160 animals that she has rescued and takes care of. We learned about a non-profit livestock farm and how she takes care of over 160 animals.

🔐Monday night, we did an escape room and worked on our team building skills. We escaped with 5 minutes left!

✏️Tuesday, we planned our year of events and ended the day going to Louisville to play on the floating playground.
