Way to go Mrs. Ruth! We are so lucky to have you!

🎉 Congratulations to Ruth McDonald, our 20252026 KCS Teacher of the Year! 🎉
Ruth serves as our Junior High Facilitator, where she faithfully supports and guides 7th-8th grade students in their learning. She has been with KCS for three years, and we are truly grateful and lucky to have her as part of our community.

Ruth is deeply invested in helping students think intentionally about their futures through preparation and training. She also values real-world application and frequently takes students into the community for Field Work experiences, where they learn practical life skills such as job interviewing, obtaining an ID, buying and maintaining a car, and so much more!

The best thing about Mrs. Ruth is her passion for the heart of her students. She consistently points them to Christ, helps them in dealing with their sin, and shows unconditional love to all students, not just those in her classroom.

Thank you, Mrs. Ruth, for the dedication, care, and excellence you bring to KCS each day. We are thankful for the way you serve our students and community so well!

We had an amazing night last night! Our Wildfire HSA girls and boys both played. Both teams won their games!

The most exciting thing as a staff is to see the community that is being built by these experiences! We cannot wait for more games!
