Thanks to this wonderful partnership, Stephanie Reese at Lucille Nash Elementary is launching the "Lunch Bunch Book Club"! 🥪📚✨
This program brings 3rd–5th grade students together during lunch to read nationally recognized novels and engage in meaningful, collaborative discussions. By building comprehension, active listening, and empathy, this sustainable club is designed to foster a lifelong love of reading for years to come!

Because of this beautiful legacy, Denise Farmer at Monday Elementary School is launching "American History Heroes"!📚✨
This grant provides a rich variety of new library resources for students to research influential historical figures. These materials will support students for years to come as they prepare for Monday Elementary's incredible end-of-year tradition: the Living Wax Museum of American Heroes!

Thanks to their support, Kori Acevedo at Phillips Elementary School is turning her fourth-grade and GT students into city planners! 🏙️📐✨
Through this unique project, students will design, build, and market their very own city using Magna-Tiles. They will calculate area and perimeter, label structures, and even pitch their city to "visitors" for the spring showcase. Best of all, these interactive learning materials will be shared with all fourth-grade classrooms!

This project uses morphology—the study of prefixes, suffixes, and word roots—to help students master complex academic vocabulary. This research-based approach gives all students, especially our English learners, the tools and confidence to succeed across all subjects!
