Meet Eden Hodgkins, Acellus Academy junior and competitive All-Star cheer athlete. 📣

For the past eight years, Eden has trained and competed year-round, traveling across the East Coast with two elite cheer teams while managing a rigorous academic schedule. Acellus Academy's online homeschool program — with NCAA-approved courses — gives her the flexibility to work around practices, competitions, travel, and recovery while staying on pace toward her long-term goals. As she enters her senior year this August, she will also begin dual enrollment with the University of Maine.

✨ Student Spotlight: Erika Jo Kelton

Balancing her Acellus Academy coursework with 11 years of dance training, Erika has developed strong discipline and focus across everything she does. Trained in styles from ballet and pointe to hip-hop and aerial, she brings consistency and drive to both her academics and her commitments outside the classroom.

With the flexibility of an online high school, she’s able to stay on track while continuing to invest in her goals.

Looking ahead, Erika plans to pursue a career in nursing, with interests in pediatrics, labor & delivery, or emergency care.

Her advice:
“Don’t let fear hold you back. Fear is temporary, regret lasts forever. Everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.”
