Relying on one paycheck felt risky.

When I lost my job in 2020, I realized how much control I had given away by depending on a single source of income.

That’s one of the reasons I started building something of my own.

I wasn’t looking for guarantees. I was looking for more control over my future.

I became much more interested in what money could buy:

Time.
Options.
Freedom.

That’s a tough statement, but it changed the way I look at life.

When I was 20, I was shot in the back. I couldn’t control what happened, but I could control what I did next.

That’s why I believe life is less about what happens to us and more about the responsibility we take afterward.
