Our senior send-offs are always the hardest part of Vision, and this year wasn't any easier. Presenting the A-Team: Aleah, Adreana, and Addisyn. All three of these incredible young women have continually shown leadership, dedication, and integrity in their time in Youth With Vision and those characteristics will continue to take them far in life. Congratulations on conquering high school, ladies! Your futures look bright!

A big shout-out to Youth With Vision member Amaeus Hawkins who took part in the 2026 Northland Prevention Conference this year! Yesterday he spoke on a panel with other Northland teens about substance use and the power of prevention from a youth perspective. Plus, you might recognize the moderator as Vision's own Meagan Nielsen!
Big ups, Amaeus! Thanks for providing the Northland Prevention Conference with an important point of view!

Youth With Vision shines brightest when we advocate for our communities and our annual Prevention Day at the Capitol this year proved that! 27 Vision members from Clay, Platte, and Ray Counties joined us this last Tuesday to meet with our legislators and make our voices heard!
We spoke about our concerns regarding h**p and gas station drugs, To***co 21, and mental health...and we had some great bonding and laughs along the way! Our feet might have been sore at the end of the day, but Youth With Vision never tires of advocating for safer and healthier communities.
Thank you to all of our representatives and senators for meeting with us and an even bigger thank you to all of our student leaders who made this day a success. GO VISION GO!

Last week, Youth With Vision was honored to attend CADCA's Annual National Leadership Forum in Washington DC!
We spent four full days filled with training sessions led by CADCA experts focusing on topics such as substance use prevention strategies and effective leadership practices, speaking to our national representatives about issues in our communities, and networking with other youth leaders from all around the country.
We're incredibly lucky to have such dedicated leaders in Youth With Vision who continually strive to be more, fight harder, and dream big! GO VISION!
