Safe Journey Sanctum is seeking a few additional harm reduction and peer support volunteers for Nocturnal Valley music festival in French Village, Missouri September 23rd-27th! 🎶🔊🏕️

In exchange for approximately 3 6-hour shifts worked at the Sanctuary Space volunteers will receive GA admission to the festival with camping included.

Reasons to Apply:

💜 You have previous harm reduction or peer support experience or are interested in getting involved
💜 You have a medical, social work or therapy background
💜 You’re passionate about making sure that live music events are safer for the entire community and you work well in a high stress environment

Safe Journey Sanctum had the honor of providing harm reduction and peer support services at this year’s Cosmic Kinection music festival at Astral Valley in June! This was our first time providing 24-hour peer support and harm reduction for a full scale festival event and we were honored to do so. Thank you so much to all of our volunteers and organizers who worked day and night to make sure that festival patrons had peer support and harm reduction services available 24/7!

We had so much fun and so many memories were made dancing with you, laughing with you and supporting you, until the next one! ❤️🎶🤗

Come by for free ear plugs, peer support, our collection of DanceSafe info cards, and on site fentanyl/xylazine reagent testing! We’re open 24/7, right next to the medical tent.

Safe Journey Sanctum is seeking one additional volunteer with a medical background to support our team at Cosmic Kinection 2026.

This role is focused on wellness checks, calm presence, and helping identify when someone may need additional support. The volunteer will not be providing first aid or medical care directly. Instead, they will help observe attendee wellbeing and refer concerns to the designated first aid or medical team when appropriate.

In exchange for this commitment, SJS will provide:

• Complimentary GA admission
• Commissary meals for each shift worked
• The opportunity to support a compassionate, grounded harm reduction space

This is a great fit for someone with EMS, nursing, clinical, behavioral health, crisis response, or similar experience who understands the importance of scope, boundaries, and supportive presence.

SJS volunteers help create a safer, more connected environment by offering nonjudgmental support, grounding, and care-centered awareness.
