Repost from

The answer to my juicing pulp prayers🙌🏻 Everyone needs to watch Kiss the Ground on Netflix. It was the kick in the ass I needed to evaluate the waste I’m generating and my personal carbon footprint.

Composting is a superrr easy way we can all help our hurting planet. Literally all you have to do is seperate food scraps from your trash and recycling. Why should you do this? Because food waste in landfills generates methane, which we know to be a potent greenhouse gas. Composting wasted food significantly reduces methane emissions.

Composting 101:
1. Reduces and in some cases eliminates the need for food chemical fertilizers. *No chemicals is better for human health and the environment*
2. Promotes a higher yield of agriculture crops.
3. Helps in reforestation, wetland restoration, and habitat revitalization by improving contaminated soil conditions.
4. Enhances soil water retention.
5. Carbon sequestration!!

If you’re in the Kansas City area, check out . They have several options that are super user friendly! Mother earth thanks you for doing your part 🌍

🌱 Did you know you can reuse egg shells 🥚 to start your seeds? It's a super simple process:

1) Save your eggshells from breakfast

2) Add seed starting soil to your egg shells

3) Add 3-4 seeds and lightly top with more soil

4) Water your seeds and watch them grow!

Tribe, what are your thoughts on using the cup versus pads/tampons?
・・・
Meet Punch Down, one of the most popular cup folds. Sounds a bit aggressive but really isn't! Many say this fold helped with initial cup insertions and a better unfolding once inserted. As user so eloquently put it: "Punch Down saved my sanity."
