📚💪🏽 Join us for EdEquity’s 6th Annual Teach Truth Day of Action on May 23rd from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM as we come together to learn, organize, and advocate for equitable schools and communities.

There is so much happening nationally, but we also know that meaningful change starts locally. This year’s Teach Truth Day of Action will bring together community members, educators, parents, and students to discuss the very real challenges impacting our schools right here at home:
• The disappearance of equity policies
• The impact of ICE threats on students and families
• Underfunded schools
• The loss of rights for specialized student populations

Hear from local organizations and speakers working directly in our communities, and learn ways to engage, build collective power, and create change together.

A night to slow down, create, and connect 🎨🌿

Yesterday’s Educator Pottery Night was filled with creativity, laughter, and community. We’re so grateful to all the educators who joined us to unwind, get their hands messy, and take time for themselves.

Thank you for everything you do for our students and families every day, you deserve moments of care and creativity too. 🫂🧡

A special thank you to for guiding our educators through such a fun and welcoming pottery experience.

This panel is designed to go beyond a traditional discussion by helping our community better understand what it truly means to serve on a school board—especially across different districts and even different states. We are intentionally bringing together voices with varied experiences to break down how governance works in practice, what responsibilities board members hold, and how those roles can differ depending on local and state policies.

Two beautiful gatherings, one shared purpose: community care 🤎✨

Last week, we had the opportunity to come together through Cafecito en Familia and Cacao and Care, creating spaces for connection, reflection, healing, and support for both families and educators. From meaningful conversations over cafecito to moments of rest and grounding through cacao, these gatherings reminded us of the power of showing up for one another.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared space, and helped make these events so special.
