Dear “electricians” & DIY’ers…

Box tape is for boxes. Electrical tape is for electrical use.

I tell people all the time, “Even if you don’t use me for your deck build/rebuild, make sure you use someone who has the knowledge & experience to do it correctly.”

This was a section of a deck rail post. The portion in the upper right was ALL that attached this railing to a deck nearly 8 foot in the air.

Imagine you or your kid nudging that railing and it breaking free.

Spend the extra time - and if need be, the money - to do things correctly.

Among the many side repairs & fixes I’ve done, I finished up a complete remodel in Independence a few weeks ago. Bedrooms look like bedrooms…but accent walls seem to be selling the houses quicker. 🤷🏼‍♂️

This one was inspired by the Nazca Lines & shapes in Peru.

of renovations done for a client so I’ve been social media MIA as of late. (Posting dump incoming!!!)

One of the most favorite - and simplistic - builds I’ve ever undertaken was for my niece (my goddaughter) because it gave me the opportunity to build the arbor she was married under.
