Some real f**kery has been going down across the country, and what's clear is that it's not just aimed just at books. But you absolutely cannot talk about book bans without talking about anti-trans, anti-gay, anti-CRT legislation. Especially in 's home state of Florida.
It makes you wonder — if things have gotten worse in the past few years, what will 2023 hold for books, authors, and readers? Will we see more bans, more legislation aimed at eradicating certain identities?

It's giving VIRTUE SIGNALING ya'll 🙄 Lately companies are being called out for supporting celebrities, and politicians for their lackluster effort to support social issues and jump on the bandwagon of movements when it suits them. While we can Nancy-Pelosi-Troll-Clap for companies showing up to do the BARE MINIMUM, companies shouldn't be afraid to do what's right.
In other words:
Virtue Signaling is the action or practice of publicly expressing opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or the moral correctness of one's position on a particular issue.
