Today, our St. Regis Academy community gathered for our first Mass of the 2026–2027 school year. What a beautiful way to begin another year of learning, growing, and living out our faith together!
Father reminded our scholars of this year’s call to “Be His Heart in the World.” He encouraged us to recognize God’s love and to share that love with those around us each day.
Our scholars also learned about three Greek words for love: Eros, Philia, and Agape, helping us understand the different ways we experience and share love, and especially the self-giving love of Christ.
May we carry this message with us throughout the school year and strive each day to Be His Heart in the World!

Dear St. Regis Academy Families,
First, thank you to our parents, scholars, teachers, and staff for your patience, flexibility, and understanding this week as we have experienced ongoing air conditioning issues. We know the changes to our schedule have created challenges for families, and we are truly grateful for the way everyone has worked together to make the best of a difficult situation.
Unfortunately, the repairs will take some time. We will have another half-day of school on Friday.
Beginning next week, we will return to full school days regardless of the status of the air conditioning. We will continue to monitor the situation and make every effort to keep our scholars and staff as comfortable as possible.
As we move forward, please keep the following in mind:
Scholars are encouraged to wear shorts and school-appropriate shirts.
Shirts must not contain words or images that do not bring honor and respect to God, St. Regis Academy, or oneself.
Scholars should bring a water bottle to school each day.
We will work to utilize the areas of the building that still have functioning air conditioning and adjust our use of the building as needed.
If you have a fan that you would be willing to loan to your scholar's classroom during this time, we would be most grateful. Every little bit will help us keep our classrooms as comfortable as possible.
During challenging times, we are reminded that perseverance and flexibility are important parts of our journey together. Scripture tells us:
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Thank you for continuing to demonstrate patience, kindness, and a spirit of cooperation. We are blessed to have such a supportive St. Regis community, and we will continue to work together to provide our scholars with a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled environment.
God bless,
Jeanette Armstrong
Principal, St. Regis Academy

On Sunday, August 16th, we welcomed our St. Regis Academy families back to campus for our Back-to-School Drop-Off!
We began our morning together with Mass, where Father Lopez gave a special blessing to all of our scholars as they prepare to begin a new school year. What a beautiful way to start our year together!
After Mass, our scholars and parents dropped off school supplies, visited classrooms, and had the opportunity to meet their teachers and staff. There was so much excitement, joy, and anticipation throughout the Academy!
We are just a few days away from welcoming our scholars back for the 2026–2027 school year. We are so grateful for our St. Regis families and look forward to a wonderful year of forming scholars rooted in faith.
Welcome back, Eagles! We are ready for a great year! 💙🦅
