In case you missed it on our Instagram and TikTok, our 100th Roadtrip is currently on the road!

It’s pretty surreal to look back on the past 25 years and see just how far this journey has taken us. Thousands of interviews, countless miles, and stories from people who have carved their own paths in ways we never could have imagined.

What’s stayed the same is the belief behind it all: That hearing someone else’s story can change how you see your own.

To everyone who has shared their journey with us, joined us on the road, or followed along from wherever you are, thank you for being part of this.

And if you don’t already, follow us on our Instagram and TikTok accounts for more fun content! https://bit.ly/4cAVOm5 & https://bit.ly/3Oh4CEk

Here’s to the next 100!

What a week at the ASU+GSV Summit! Between hosting screenings, leading panels, and eating popsicles, the Green RV was buzzing.

Over three days, we connected with hundreds of educators and leaders. There was a steady flow of people reflecting on their journeys and engaging with what it means to build a future for students with intention.

One of the most powerful moments of the week was our screening of Thriving: Black Men in Higher Education, which brought a standing-room-only crowd together in reflection and honest conversation.

That energy carried into our two panels, where the Roadtrippers from "Thriving: Black Men in Higher Education" and our upcoming documentary, "Explore Your Interests," shared their lived experiences opening up about the points that have shaped their paths and how we can help students imagine what’s possible for their futures.

To everyone who joined us this week, it was truly a pleasure! And to the Roadtrippers who shared their stories so openly: you’re the reason this work resonates.

New opportunities are opening up for incarcerated people to invest in their education and future success. And there’s still so much more to do.

In our latest series, “The Inside Scholars,” follow the journeys of Kay, Nichole, and Nurudeen—three formerly incarcerated individuals who started their educational paths while inside.

They set out to speak with others who’ve been in their shoes and have found success in their lives and careers after incarceration, proving just how important and impactful higher ed in prison programs can be.

Special thanks to Ascendium Education Group for making this trip possible.
