After a morning ruck, the recruits passed another milestone this afternoon as they experienced OC.

The recruits have been out of our classroom this week and working on ALERRT training at a local school. While ALERRT training isn't required by the state of Missouri for recruits, we feel it is very important to teach ALERRT while also working on building searches.

After a long week in the classroom working on First Responder, the recruits took a field trip to Harrisonville Fire Department where they learned a few basics in case they are assisting EMS at a scene. In addition to 40 hours of First Responder, the recruits have also completed 8 hours of American Heart Association Basic Life Survival and 4 hours of Stop the Bleed.

Last Friday the recruits passed a milestone as they successfully completed Survival Mentality (aka Hell Day). Congratulations Class #2601!

Yesterday's PT was taken to a new level for the recruits as they participated in an Officer Down scenario. This not only worked on physical fitness, but also focused on teamwork.
