2025 has been an interesting year for q***r archives, but one of the memorable moments for GLAMA was the appearance of Curator Stuart Hinds on the So True podcast hosted by actor and comic legend Caleb Hearon. Our episode “Confronting a Gay Historian” was released over the summer, and features a wide-ranging conversation about history, relationships, technology, and the potential dangers of gas stoves.

This Zine Is Creating Black Q***r Community—In New York, Atlanta, And Beyond The Living Le***an Archive uses homespun magazine-making to create and maintain a record of its people, a community history has often overlooked.

We love KCUR 89.3's podcast A People's History of Kansas City, and love it even more when we have a chance to contribute to a story. In memoriam John Long, the longtime publisher of Camp magazine who died unexpectedly this week. The first issue of Camp rolled off the presses in June 2004, and what turned out to be the final issue was published in March 2020. For that decade and a half, John worked tirelessly to report on all aspects of the Kansas City LGBT community. He was a gentle but fierce advocate, a dry wit, and an omnipresent fixture. His work capturing our history during the early 21st century will live on, and he will be deeply missed.
