Shout out for the photos of our Cat, Dwight and our Great Dane, Beast! They turned out great!

Recently, we started moving some of our snakes and Frogs out of the Tub/Rack System and into display tanks into our living room.

Hodor is our male western Hognose.

Western Hognose are a protected mildly venomous species in many states here in the Midwest.

Bryan, is our baby Pacman frog. We arent sure if Bryan is a male or female as it can be very hard to tell until they age up a bit. (Were hoping female as they get significantly larger than males)

Sometimes you get some interesting name gender combos. 😉 We have a Meredith (male) and a Kevin (female) just for example. 😃

Welp! It is that time of year folks, keep an eye out for these guys when driving around. Especially Sunrise and Sunset. The Rut has started here in KC.

We watched this same large 8 point buck protect a female in our neighbors yard a few nights back...I felt bad for the 4 pointer but that's nature! 🤷‍♂️

Stef has been looking for a better place to put her succulents. This new bioactive home turned out to be almost perfect!

Update!

The little Pastel OD Het Albino Het Candy Het Pied finally ate and is already into meal number 2!

He wad the first out of the egg and the last to start eating. Currently on Mouse hoppers, but managed to take down a very small Adult mouse this past week. Another meal or two and he will be up on MorphMarket.

The second picture is of SamWise, the Father of the pictured baby. We got him from some years back. OD Pied Het Albino. Has never skipped a meal - Typical Pied.

It's hard to believe the video shown last here is the same, Boa... Big shout out to Stef for being patient and calm, and as puts it, "building threads of trust." Felt like she would never calm down. We debated if we were cut out for her behavior at times... It was extremely rewarding to see her finally trust us even if it was for 5 minutes.

This little guy was the first out of the egg and apparently will be the last to take his first meal 🤦‍♂️

The good ol Google Machine said force feeding should be considered around 7-8 weeks without food. Is that accurate? We are currently offering mouse hoppers and got 3 out of 4 to eat.

Decided to swap out his bedding in hopes that will trigger him in his "new" environment.

Asking for a friend: When does the "I have to check on them" feeling wear off? They are literally in the same spot as where we left them last 😆

These little guys will be getting their first meals later today! Have you had success starting them on Frozen Thawed as babies? I'm hoping to have them all of FT to give more flexibility to their new snake parents in a month or so.

How was your weekend? These little ones are just excited to breathe non-egg oxygen for the first time!

Pairing was OD, Pied, Het Albino to Pastel, Candino.

The Albinos are the obvious stunners here but the sleeper of the group is in my hands. Pastel, OD, Het Pied and Het Albino/Candy.

They will be up on MorphMarket soon but we want them to be well started (3-4 meals in) before we ship. All will be able to eat frozen thawed and all will be decently well socialized to save you a bite or 7 😉
