Introducing Heartland 180's Virtual Parent Project—now available nationwide.

For years, the Parent Project has been the nation's leading court-mandated parent intervention. Today, we're bringing this proven program to your community—virtually, accessibly, and with flexibility built in.

Whether you're a probation department, court, State Advisory Group, or referring agency, we've designed three pricing structures to fit your partnership and funding model:

✓ Access Rate ($400/family) — For grant-funded or sliding-scale arrangements
✓ Standard Rate ($540/family) — For agency-contracted enrollment
✓ Cohort Contract ($6,000/cohort) — For statewide or multi-county partners

What's included: certified facilitators, full curriculum, court-mandated documentation, attendance tracking, and outcome reporting. Evening and weekend sessions available. No local infrastructure needed.

The impact? Families get the tools to support their youth. Youth get the stability they need. Communities see measurable reductions in risk factors and recidivism.

If your agency serves justice-involved youth and families, let's talk about how the Virtual Parent Project can strengthen your referral partnerships and outcomes.

What does real change look like?

It’s a young person learning responsibility, one task at a time. When youth in our program take on challenges like cleaning and caring for a vehicle, they’re not just building job skills. They’re building self-worth and trust.

Every 180-degree turnaround starts with small steps.

We need your voice.

For 10 years, Kansas has been building something important—moving away from locking up youth and toward programs that actually help them heal and grow. Programs like ours at Heartland 180.

But that progress is at risk. HB 2329 would shift millions of dollars away from community programs and toward institutions. That means fewer resources for the prevention, mentoring, and family support that Wyandotte County families depend on.

The impact is already happening:
Funding for community programs dropped from $21.5 million to $10.7 million in just one year.

We know what works. We see it every day—young people given real support, real accountability, and real opportunity turning their lives around. That's what community-based programs do.

If you believe in second chances and in supporting youth and families in our community, speak up. Share this. Become a donor. Stay connected with us.

A decade of progress is at risk.

For 10 years, Kansas moved away from detention and toward community solutions that help youth heal and grow. But HB 2329 threatens to reverse that.

The reality:
Community-based funding: $21.5M → $10.7M in one year.

We see what works. Young people with real support, real accountability, real opportunity making 180-degree turnarounds. If HB 2329 passes programs like our and our great partners like Lowriding to Success are at jeopardy of disappearing.

Wyandotte County families deserve better.

Speak up. Share. Donate. Stay connected.

The time to act is now. 💚

A 10-year investment in community-based youth justice is at risk.

For the past decade, SB 367 has helped Kansas move away from detention and toward solutions that actually work—programs that help young people heal, grow, and succeed. But HB 2329 threatens to reverse that progress.

The numbers tell the story:
• Community-based grant funding dropped from $21.5M (FY 2024) to $10.7M (FY 2025)
• The Evidence-Based Practice Account (EBPA) would shift $10M to group homes and institutional care
• Community programs—prevention, diversion, mentoring, family support—would be cut to a fraction of their current capacity

At Heartland 180, we see every day what community-based programs do. We see young people given the right support, accountability, and opportunity make a 180-degree turnaround.

Wyandotte County families and youth deserve better. Speak up for community-based solutions. Share this message. Become a donor. Stay connected.

The time to act is now.
