Please begin saving clean boxes household items, even restaurant items (able to glue to paper), store logos anything related to food, where we buy it, or where we eat it. I am going to help my friends create ABC Books with the environmental print on our everyday items they see and use. This will help us with so many Literacy goals. We will learn our letters, build vocabulary, make connections with our words starting like...., we will build community by learning about our stores and restaurants, we will n build alliteration skills (lists of words that begin with thw same letter), and build a home to school connection. These items make an EASY bridge to early reading! This activity will build their confidence and help us make concrete connections to many learning goals!
*some items might have several places where the name is so please send the whole package or cut all the names off of it. We will be making prob 6 copies and not that everyone will pick the same items for each letter im hoping we can have several per letter!
*I brainstormed a list. But I truly want whatever, school appropriate items, you use in your home, too!

Today we learned about what tractors do on a farm! One cool thing is they get to go thru dirt and mud...sooo we painted with brown paint, and a toy tractor! They really enjoyed this activity...

Huge "thank you" to Mr. Mike and Brynlee for putting our new to us pink playhouse together! Great teamwork!!!! Brynlee was taught some new vocabulary (flathead screwdriver, clockwise, and counter clockwise) Learning can happen ANYWHERE!!!! ✔️💜✔️💜✔️
