Looking back at where I started and seeing how much I have grown is tremendous.

It all began with writing down my goals. I created a Projection Board filled with everything I wanted to accomplish within the year, and I started working toward each goal, one by one.

I kept showing up for myself day after day. There were complex challenges and major obstacles along the way, but I refused to give up. I stayed committed until the goals I once wrote down became my reality.

Today, Professor LUCY is officially available on both Apple and Android! 💜 She is my AI Professor of Healthcare Informatics, designed to support learners in medical coding, health information management, revenue cycle, healthcare analytics, artificial intelligence, and emerging healthcare technology.

I am excited to announce that The Lovely Coder Academy has officially been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization!

This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our organization and our mission to make healthcare education more accessible through career development, mentorship, scholarships, innovative technology, and educational programs.

As an IRS-recognized tax-exempt nonprofit, The Lovely Coder Academy will continue working to create opportunities that help aspiring and current healthcare professionals grow, learn, and succeed.

This has been a vision I’ve worked toward for a long time, and seeing it become a reality is both humbling and exciting.

As I finish the next few steps in bringing Professor LUCY™ to both Android and iOS, I was reminded of one of the most humbling truths in software development:

One missing bracket can throw off an entire application.

The app stopped building correctly. Screens went blank. Error messages pointed everywhere except where the real issue seemed to be. After tracing the code carefully, the problem came down to one small missing closing bracket.

That tiny symbol carried a big lesson.

Building an app is not only about writing code. It is about patience, debugging, problem-solving, and refusing to walk away when something that worked yesterday suddenly stops working today.

Professor LUCY™ is getting closer to launch, and every obstacle is sharpening me as a developer and strengthening the product.

Sometimes progress looks like adding a major new feature. Other times, it looks like finding the one missing bracket holding the whole vision hostage. 😅

There is something incredible about turning an idea into reality through code. Watching Professor LUCY™ come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my journey. This is only the beginning. 🥹💜
