IT'S A MONUMENTAL MONDAY!🦉
Some of life's greatest lessons
are found in the quietest places.
A cemetery may seem like an unlikely place to think about living.
But perhaps that's exactly why it has so much to teach us.
Walking among monuments reminds us that every life has a story. Every person was once someone's child. Many became someone's spouse, parent, grandparent, friend.
They laughed. They worried. They made plans. They had ordinary Tuesdays. They celebrated birthdays. They probably spent time worrying about things that, in the end, weren't nearly as important as they seemed.
And eventually, every one of their stories reached a final page.
Maybe the wisdom isn't simply that life is short.
Maybe it's that life is precious while we're living it.
Love the people God has placed in your life.
Say what needs to be said.
Forgive what doesn't need to be carried.
Make the memory.
Take the picture.
Give the flowers while they can still be received.
Because someday, what seemed like an ordinary day may become one of the days someone would give anything to have back.
That's worth remembering.
And that is monumental.🦉
