We are so excited to finally be settled into our new space and are ready to welcome a few new little friends to the Giggle & Grow family! 💜🌱

Giggle & Grow Playcare is a licensed group home childcare program in Kalkaska serving children from infancy through age 5. We offer the comfort and connection of a small home-based program while giving children plenty of room to play, learn, explore, and grow!

• Small group sizes and lots of individual attention
• A fun, play-based environment
• Daily activities that support development and school readiness

As construction starts on our new space today we get more and more excited to bring your littles into it! We are so excited to welcome our new staff! Here is a little bit about them! Miss Olivia will be our new lead teacher! And miss Emmy her Assistant teacher! We are excited to welcome them!

“I am Miss Olivia and I am so excited to get to work with your little ones! I moved to Kalkaska last fall and I am so glad to have been given this opportunity. I love spending time outdoors doing things like gardening and going for bike rides. I can't wait to help your children learn!”

“Hi, my name is Emmaleigh! I am 29 years old. Born and raised in Michigan. I have been in the childcare industry since I was 17 years old. I am super excited to join giggle and grow play care and help continue to bring education and growth to the little ones part of the center! When I am not working, I am at home with my five-year-old son Ryder and my husband of eight years and our amazing animals two wonderful cats and a very energetic little dog. I love being outdoors and I’m always up for new adventures!”

Giggle & Grow Playcare is currently working through the approval process to relocate to our new location on W Kalkaska Rd so we can continue providing reliable childcare for local families.

Unfortunately, there is now a possibility that the required public hearing could be delayed until July due to a publication scheduling issue, despite there still appearing to be enough time remaining to meet the legal notice timeline before the June 10 hearing date.

A delay would also delay the state licensing process for the new location and impact local working families relying on childcare.
