🎶 We’re excited to welcome Miller Campbell to the Glacier Music Academy team! 🎶
Miller is a professional vocalist, songwriter, and performer with a lifelong background in music and theater. Her experience includes performing with the Seattle Opera Company, international touring with the Miller Campbell Band, and years of live music performance and songwriting experience.
Miller teaches voice, guitar, and ukulele lessons and loves helping students stay motivated through songs they genuinely love.
She is now available for lessons in the Lakeside/Somers area on Monday–Thursday and weekends! 🎤🎸

🚨 NEW TEACHER ALERT 🚨
If you’ve been looking for a great guitar teacher in the Flathead Valley, this is it.
We’re excited to welcome Derrick to Glacier Music Academy!
Derrick is a guitar and bass instructor with 15+ years of teaching experience and over 20 years of study, performance, and recording. He works with students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Derrick says,
“I emphasize adaptability, tailoring each lesson to the student’s goals, whether that’s learning songs, improving technique, understanding theory, or developing creativity. I focus on shrinking the gap between the imagination, the ear, and the fingers so students can learn by ear, improvise, and create their own music.”
He has studied with world-class musicians like Pat Metheny, Lee Ritenour, Jody Fischer, and Robben Ford after earning a full scholarship to the Crown of the Continent Guitar Foundation.

Thank you Mrs. Stephens for trusting me to accompany your Flathead Choirs. Your choirs sound beautiful and refined, and it has been such a joy working with them (that’s me in the red!).
Music teachers and students across the valley have been working hard for months preparing for the District Music Festival. It is a great opportunity for students to perform and receive valuable feedback from highly qualified adjudicators, many of whom hold Doctorates in Music.
If you are looking for something inspiring to do, you are welcome to drop in and watch these talented musicians perform at Glacier High School today and tomorrow (4/10 and 4/11.)
District Music Festival is underway! We are so proud of the students in our Music Program and our directors—Mrs. Jennifer Stephens (Choir), Mr. David Johnke (Band), and Mr. Eric Holdhusen (Orchestra).

This recital is extra special because each student will be performing a piece that represents their overall growth and progress in lessons so far. It’s such a joy to see how far they’ve come. ❄️🎶
