It took some serious courage for young middle school boy to share how his brain excels and struggles at different pieces of academic learning. Well done, Jacob!
We need more everyday heroes like Mr. Povey in the world, i.e. teachers who can see kids gifts and coach them through mindset shifts and better understanding of themselves so they can learn and grow into their full potential.
